About
I am Gagan, a Ph.D. scholar at the Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. My research focuses on non-linear optical microscopy for real-time brain imaging, specifically tracking metabolic changes using advanced two-photon fluorescence lifetime imaging. Under the guidance of Dr. Nirmal Mazumder, I aim to bridge biology and physics to develop cutting-edge imaging modalities that unravel complex biological processes. My work integrates multiphoton imaging, machine learning for image analysis, and ultrafast lasers, contributing to innovative advancements in biomedical optics and neuroscience.
