About
Dr. Soham Dutta was born in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India in 1992. He did his M.Tech from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India in 2016. Thereafter, he joined as a full-time Ph.D. scholar in IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, India and completed his Ph.D. in November 2021. Presently, he is working as an assistant professor at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, India. His research interest includes island and fault detection in smart grid, artificial intelligence and machine learning, phasor measurement unit, cyber security in power system, net energy metering and feed-in tariff. He has many research publications in SCI/SCI-E and ESCI indexed journals, book chapters and also in conference proceedings to his credit. He has one granted patent from the Government of India. He also serves as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Access, IEEE Sensors Journal, IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems, SEGAN and several other SCI indexed journals.
