About

Dr. Sirajudheen Anwar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, College of Pharmacy, University of Hail, Saudi Arabia, with extensive academic, teaching, and research experience in pharmacology, toxicology, and therapeutics. He has previously served in academic leadership roles, including Head of Department at EPCP, RGUHS, India, and has worked at AL Baha University in Saudi Arabia.

He completed his Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2013 and pursued postdoctoral research at the University of Messina, Italy, focusing on antiproliferative and cancer-related studies involving bioactive compounds. He also holds a Special Master’s degree in Nutrition and has contributed to cardiovascular research at the University of East Anglia, UK.

His research interests include molecular mechanisms of bioactive and lead compounds, phytopharmacology, clinical pharmacology, cancer biology, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases, and critical care outcomes. His work integrates experimental pharmacology with translational and epidemiological approaches, with growing interest in biomarker research and disease burden studies.

He is actively involved in teaching, supervising Pharm D and postgraduate research, and international academic collaboration. He has been recognized among the Top 2% Scientists globally (2024–2025) and is committed to advancing evidence-based medicine and contributing to high-impact scientific research.
