Prof. Satya Deo is presently working as Professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj, India. He secured first position in order of merit in M.Sc. (Mathematics) examination of 1997 from Lucknow University and qualified JRF-CSIR (NET) examination in the same year. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from University of Lucknow, Lucknow in the year 2003. His research interests are fluid mechanics, flow through porous media and membrane filtration process. He worked on a young scientist research project, and as project coordinator of Indo-Russian joint project funded by DST, New Delhi, India. He visited Moscow State University of Food Production and Gubkin Russian State University, Moscow, Russia to do collaborative research work in the joint Indo-Russian project in years 2009 and 2017, respectively. He has produced 09 Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) scholars and most of them are presently working as Assistant/Associate professors/Professors in reputed institutions of India. He has published more than 65 research papers in national and international Journals of high repute and delivered invited talks/ presented research papers in 60 scientific conferences. He has also authored a book titled "Classical Mechanics: An Introduction" published by Narosa Publishers, New Delhi, India. His h-index is 22, i10-index is 40 and citations 1192 so far as per Google Scholar.
