Dr. Abdul Waheed

About

Dr. Abdul Waheed is an accomplished computer scientist specializing in Cybersecurity and Information Security. He earned his M.S. in Computer Science from Hazara University, Mansehra in 2014 and completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the same institution in 2021. During his doctoral research, he worked at NetLab-INMC, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Seoul National University (SNU), South Korea under the HEC research program (2017–2019).
Before joining CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences, Dr. Waheed served as Assistant Professor and Head of the Computer Science Department at Women University Swabi, KP, also holding the role of Director IT. Previously, he was Assistant Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) at Northern University, Nowshera, KP.

Dr. Waheed has published extensively in international journals and conferences and is a recognized member of the Crypto-Net Research Group at Hazara University. His contributions have established him as a respected scholar in computer science and cybersecurity.
