About
I completed my M.S. (Pharm) and Ph.D. at NIPER Mohali under the guidance of Prof. A.K. Chakraborti. My doctoral thesis received the prestigious Rajni Bhai V. Patel Pharm Innova Award for the most "Innovative Thesis" in Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) for 2017–18, jointly organized by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi, and L.M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad. I have authored 36 peer-reviewed SCIE/Web of Science indexed publications, including a notable paper in ACS Catalysis (impact factor 13.2), which was highlighted by Synfact. My research portfolio includes 13 original research articles, 5 reviews, 2 books, 6 book chapters, and 7 patents (one issued by NIPER Mohali). My work has received 995 citations (h-index: 13), with a cumulative impact factor of 80.
I bring seven years of teaching experience and six months of industrial experience as a research scientist at Piramal Drug Discovery. I have received several awards, including a DST Travel Grant for the Landon’s Tetrahedrane Conference, first place in the International Patent Drafting Competition (IPDC) 2018, and the Distinguished Faculty Award from Uttarakhand State Science and Technology (UCOST) in 2022 for outstanding contributions to research and academics. Currently, my research focuses on the synthesis of heterocycles and polymer chemistry.
