I am a recent Ph.D. graduate from Angiosperm Systematics Lab, Savitribai Phule Pune Univeristy, India. I am actively seeking for postdoctoral opportunities.
As a naturalist, I am fascinated by questions surrounding plant diversity, evolution (morphological, adaptive, and convergent evolution), biogeography, and ecology.​
My research centres on the systematics, evolution, and biogeography of angiosperms, with a particular focus on aquatic plants. For my doctoral studies, I investigate the amphiphyte genus Rotala (Lythraceae), exploring its evolutionary history, morphological diversity, and distribution patterns.
