About
I have over twelve years of professional experience in research and development in the field of healthcare-related point-of-care in vitro diagnostics and medical devices. I currently lead the process development team at Achira Labs Pvt. Ltd., a company that specializes in developing innovative and affordable diagnostic solutions for global health challenges.
My core competencies include the design and synthesis of polymeric hydrogel-based sensors, dye-antibody conjugation techniques, formulation stability, advanced freeze-drying techniques (preparation of LyoBeads & LyoPellets), nanobiotechnology, lateral flow assay development, and synthesis and conjugation of nanoparticles. I have a strong track record of scientific publications, patents, trademarks, and research projects at premier institutions in India (i.e., IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, NIPER Mohali, NIPER Hyderabad). I am passionate about creating impactful and accessible diagnostic products that can improve the quality of life and health outcomes of millions of people around the world.
