About
Philosophy: A teacher cum student who firmly believes that education has no meaning if it fails to trigger critical consciousness.
Research Domain: My research interest areas are social work education; social work and marginalised groups; politics of language, hegemony, and common sense; and cultural violence. I specialize in RCH (reproductive and child health), minorities, and the politics of development. Currently, I am experimenting with the theoretical frameś of hegemony, commonsense and structural violence. Methodologically, I am inclined to qualitative research and participatory techniques apart from survey research.
