About
I am a Plant Molecular Geneticist and Quantitative Breeder. My research integrates functional genomics, molecular marker development, and advanced quantitative genetic modeling to improve nutritional and stress-resilience traits in Oilseed Brassica. I have experience in gene cloning, SNP discovery, qRT-PCR–based expression analysis, and bioinformatics approaches including codon usage and evolutionary analysis. My work spans oilseed, cereal, and pulse crops, where I integrate quantitative genetic modeling with molecular breeding and functional genomics to accelerate trait improvement. I have published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals and actively contribute to teaching, student supervision, and statistical training workshops. My research goal is to integrate molecular biology, bioinformatics, and quantitative genomics to accelerate crop improvement and nutritional biofortification.
