At present, working as Scientist/Engineer in Division of Artificial Internal Organs at Bio-medical Technology Wing, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, An Institution of National Importance, DST, Govt. of India. The Division of Artificial Internal Organs develops medical devices with special focus on high-risk implants in cardiovascular and neurological applications. In response to the needs of country’s orthopedic sector, Division initiated new areas namely orthopedic implants, Orthotics and Rehabilitation and In-vitro diagnostics. My current work involves leading the development of high-risk orthopedic implants and customized surgical instruments.
