Devendra Gowda

About

Devendra Gowda did his BE in Electrical & Electronics from VTU Belgaum. He has also completed the Post Graduate Diploma in IPR and Presently Pursuing Ph.D in Electrical & Electronics Engineering . He is Member of Institution of Engineers, Member of Indian Smart Grid Forum (ISGF), Member of IEEE USA, Member of Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE) New Delhi. Regarding Achievements and Awards he received Promising Young Teacher Award 2018 from Sanjay Ghodawat University Kolhapur, He has been recognized as a NPTEL Enthusiasts from NPTEL, IIT Madras, He Received First Prize for the presentation in GREEN Summit 2014 organized by FKCCI and MNRE Govt. of India.
He Completed 15 NPTEL-MOOC Certification Courses in the area of IPR, Electric vehicle, Research and Electrical Engineering courses. He attended more than 35 workshops ,20-Faculty Development Program and 10- Short Term Training Program -in NIT, IIT’s and central university Govt. of India. He Delivered 35+ Public Lecture in the area of IPR, Electric vehicle and Awareness talks on IEEE in many academic Institutions and Universities in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
As a Volunteer he worked in various Volunteering positions in IEEE such has Counselor IEEE Student Branch (STB17301), Secretary (Student Activities Committee) IEEE Bombay Section, as a Proctor for IEEE Extreme 16.0, IEEE PES DAY 2022 Ambassador, IEEE Day 2022 Ambassador, IEEE Education Week Ambassador. Member of IEEE Computer Society, Member of IEEE Council on Electronic Design Automation, Member of Autonomous Driving Technologies, Member of IEEE Computer Society Special Technical Community, Member of IEEE Sensors Council, Member of IEEE Systems Council. Apart from his professional experience He Coordinating many Engineering Colleges to initiate and Establish IEEE Student Branch, Student Branch Chapters and working as a Mentor in IEEE Power and Energy Society Mentoring Program. His research Interest in Renewable energy ,Electric Vehicle and Smart grid
