About
Dr Shubhankar Kumar Bose was born in Sikar, India. He received his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of Rajasthan, in 2004 and his Ph.D. degree in 2011 with Prof. Sundargopal Ghosh from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. In 2011, he was awarded a prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2012-2014) and as such, joined the research group of Prof. Todd B. Marder at the Universität Würzburg, Germany and continued his postdoctoral study in the same group till Jan. 2017. From Feb. 2017, he began his independent research career as an Assistant Professor at Centre for Nano and Material Sciences (CNMS), Jain University. His research interests are in the areas of organometallic and catalysis.
