My career has been at the intersection of clinical practice and research. After my MD-PhD, I have alternated clinical and research phases. My research and main publications were based on national and international cohorts of patients with rare diseases: i) rare genetic defect of insulin secretion (neonatal diabetes), including pharmacological research with pharmacokinetics and developmental pharmacology studies, ii) inborn errors of metabolism, iii) rare disorders of growth, as evidenced by numerous publications as 1st, last and collaborative author in high-impact journals or book chapters.
Overall, my career has been marked by my dual commitment to advancing research and clinical practice in paediatric endocrinology
