Dr. Vipin Tiwari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Bhopal in 2015, where his doctoral research focused on the hardware implementation of neural network classifiers using the CORDIC algorithm. He completed his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from RGPV Bhopal in 2009 and his B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2003.
Dr. Tiwari has 17 years of academic and research experience and has served in teaching and research roles at several reputed institutions in India, including Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Chandigarh University, MANIT Bhopal, and Jagran Lakecity University. His teaching and research activities focus on emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and international conference papers, including publications in SCI-indexed journals. His research contributions span neural network hardware implementation, deep learning applications, intelligent IoT systems, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data-driven decision systems. His work also explores interdisciplinary applications of AI in areas such as smart agriculture, healthcare analytics, fraud detection, and network security.
Dr. Tiwari is also involved in innovation and technology development and holds a granted design patent related to smart infrastructure systems. In addition, he actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for reputed journals and conferences.
He is a professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and IEEE, and regularly participates in international conferences, collaborative research initiatives, and academic mentoring activities. His work aims to advance intelligent computing systems and promote research-driven education in computer science and engineering.
