About
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the GIDM, Gandhinagar, looking to strengthen the institutional framework to build resilience in and for the society. Previous to this I worked as postdoctoral researcher at the Civil Engineering Department at IIT Bombay, focusing on riverine flooding to develop strategies that mitigate the impact of extreme events while harnessing their potential benefits. This experience will solidify my skills, enabling me to continue researching this domain and find innovative solutions. My utmost goal is to understand the process involved in flooding and to implement effective solutions (preferably nature-based) to minimize risk factors and loss of lives.
In addition to my research, I served as an Assistant Professor at Shobhit University and Suresh Gyan Vihar University. These roles gave me valuable experience in teaching, guiding research theses, and engaging in administrative tasks. I also worked with the GIS industry, highlighting the importance and application of Geoinformatics in addressing real-world problems. I am eager to connect with others with similar interests and explore potential collaborations in this field.
