Dr. Arshian Sharif is working as a Professor at Sunway Business School, Sunway University, Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. in Financial Analysis and Policy from the Northern University of Malaysia, Malaysia, in 2021. His teaching and research interests lie in Applied Econometrics, Financial Econometrics, Financial Management Policy, Energy Finance, Energy, and Environmental Economics. He has vast experience in publications and reviewing in top publishers like Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, Springer, Sage, Inderscience, etc. Moreover, he has published more than 200 research articles in International Journals (27,000+ citations and H-Index 80+). He is serving as an Editor, Associate Editor, member of the Editorial Board, and reviewer of numerous journals. Also, he is among the Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers by Clarivate Analytics 2022 and World's Top 2% Scientists List published by Stanford University 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. He is also recognized as Malaysia's Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics. Also, he has received the Best Research Award (Deans Award for Academic Excellence) from Universiti Utara Malaysia for three consecutive years.
