About
Dr. Charu Lata Dube completed her M.Tech. in Solid State Materials from the Dept. of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2005, followed by Ph.D. in Physics from IIT Delhi in 2010 Physics. She completed her Ph.D. in collaboration with Materials Research Institute, Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania, USA. Dr. Dube represented IIT Delhi (as a contingent) under SAARC-IAESTE Japan internship program 2008 at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan. After a brief stint as a project scientist at IIT Delhi, she joined the Institute for Plasma Research Gandhinagar as post PDF/ Visiting scientist. In 2015, she moved to the University of Sheffield as PDRA. Later in 2017 she joined School of Nano Sciences, Central University of Gujarat as Assistant Professor. During the past ~ 9 years at CUG, she has been involved in the Microwave Processing of Materials, development of advanced materials for water purification, development of nuclear fusion/fission materials. Several funding agencies such as DST, UGC-DAE have generously funded her research. Dr. Dube is involved in teaching of PG level courses and guiding PhD students at Central University of Gujarat. She has published more than 50 articles in internationally reputed journals. Dr. Dube has nearly 26 years of experience in the area of Microwave processing of Materials and has published nearly 50 articles in the area. She has recently published a book entitled “Microwave assisted synthesis of materials”, which got published from Springer briefs in materials.
