About
I joined All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi, the most prestigious and competitive medical school in India in 2001. I did M.Ch. Neurosurgery residency (6 years) from the same institute. I had an excellent academic and surgical record throughout my residency training. After completing my neurosurgical residency in 2014, he joined a one year long clinical fellowship “Combined Spine Surgery” at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, Calgary (Canada), under the mentorship of world renowned spine surgeons. I joined as an Assistant Professor, Department of Neurosurgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in July 2015. I am working as an Additional Professor in the department of Neurosurgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
I am well versed in all aspects of neurosurgery with special interest in Spine surgery, surgery for Movement disorders and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (Gamma Knife). I have keen research interest and have been working on many projects. I have presented my research work at various scientific meetings in India and abroad.
I am a section editor for the journal World Neurosurgery. I am also an Associate Editor for the Neurology India and Indian Journal of Neurotrauma. I have done a number of projects to promote resident training.
