About
Subhasish Das earned his Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Technology (2004) and Masters in Biotechnology from Jadavpur University (2006). His PhD (IIT Kharagpur) topic was related to kinetic modelling and optimization of process conditions to maximize CFU (colony forming unit) count and production of biomass of a probiotic bacterium and novel formulation development with the probiotic (2011). He did his postdoctoral research in Federal University of Rio-de-Janeiro on a lipid accumulating yeast (2012-13). He taught in SASTRA University as Asst. Professor (Research) for two years. At present he is working as Discipline Lead―R&D in Triphase Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. in Mysore, India. He is engaged in collaborative projects with academia and clinical research organizations. He has several publications, 2 patent applications, 1 book chapter and several conference papers and presentations (https://scholar.google.co.in/citations?hl=en&user=e2rmPGEAAAAJ). He is editor and reviewer of some international jounals and member of Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES).
