Prof. Banerjee is currently a (full) Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Mechanics at Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA, USA). His research interest is in turbulent flows, hydrodynamic instabilities, marine hydrokinetic energy, and pulmonary fluid dynamics. Prior to joining Lehigh, Prof. Banerjee worked as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Missouri University of Science & Technology (Rolla, MO, USA) and a post-doctoral fellowship at Los Alamos National Laboratory (Los Alamos, NM, USA).
