About

Dr. Lakshmi Kanthan Narayanan is working as Associate Professor in the
department of Computer Science and Engineering - Data Science at Saveetha School of Engineering,Saveetha University,Chennai. He did his diploma in Electrical and Electronics
Engineering at Kumaran Polytechnic College, Tiruvannamalai. He was
graduated in Information Technology at SRM University, Chennai. He
did his Master of Engineering in VLSI Design at Arunai College of
Engineering, Tiruvannamalai. He was awarded Doctoral Degree in
Computer Science and Engineering by SRM Institute of Science and
Technology, Chennai with high commendation. He Carried out his
research in IoT integrated Fog and Machine Learning application towards
water distribution and underground pipe health monitoring as a full time
researcher. He had three patents filled and two were in grant stage. He had
published more than ten SCI/Wos/Scopus indexed Journals with
international collaboration and various National and International
Conference Publications. He is a reviewer for IGI Global, International
Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems and also for various IEEE
Conferences. His research was acknowledged by international Water
Association and published his article as a special mention during 2020
which is celebrated as year of water. He was also awarded by Innovation
Club of IIT Jalandhar for his novel idea on smart agriculture system for
India. He is having nearly 10 years of experience in Teaching and
Industry. His area of interest includes Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Machine
Learning application, Deep Learning, Data Analytics, Mobile Computing
and Fog Computing, Edge system Design.
