About

I am a Research Scientist at CSIRO Environment in Australia. I am working as Soil Scientist and Environmental Sensing Specialist. Previously, I was a Principal Scientific Officer of Soils Unit, Natural Resource Management Division, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council, Dhaka, (while previously was Senior Scientific Officer, Science Division at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute), Bangladesh, working on Natural and Physical Sciences which includes soil management (Physical, Chemical and biological), nutrient Cycling in Agro-ecosystems, soil carbon sequestration, climate change mitigation potential under CA practices. In addition, I am involved in developing FRG-2012 (Fertilizer Recommendation Guide-2012) for the end-users of Bangladesh. I'm involved in determination of critical limits of nutrients for soils and crops. I have earned PhD from College of Science, Health, Engineering and Education of Murdoch University, WA under the supervision of Prof. Richard W. Bell, Head of Land Management Group where I studied on C and N cycling, C sequestration and climate change mitigation potential of CA practices on the Eastern Gangetic Plains.
