Hello, I am Dr. Showkat A. Dar, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at GITAM (Deemed to be University), Bangalore Campus. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, with specialization in Computer Vision and Deep Learning. My research focuses on designing advanced algorithms and methods for visual recognition tasks, including object detection, image classification, and image segmentation, leveraging deep learning and computer vision techniques. I have contributed to the field through several publications in reputed international journals and conferences indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
