About
Dr. Arif Nur Muhammad Ansori has extensive expertise in Bioinformatics, Drug Discovery, Molecular Biology, Vaccinology, and Virology. He earned his doctoral degree from Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. Currently, he serves as a researcher at the Postgraduate School, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia; an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, India; and the Director of the Virtual Research Center for Bioinformatics and Biotechnology (VRCBB), Indonesia. Dr. Ansori contributes as an editorial board member for several prestigious journals, including Reviews in Medical Virology, Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Virology, BMC Microbiology, Frontiers in Tropical Diseases, Journal of Translational Medicine, Canadian Journal of Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology, and Frontiers in Drug Discovery. In addition, he serves as an Advisory Board Member of Clinical Nutrition ESPEN. He is also an active member of multiple scientific societies, including the European Virus Bioinformatics Center (EVBC), the Indonesian Young Academy of Science (ALMI), the American Society for Virology (ASV), the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), the World Society for Virology (WSV), and the Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE). In recognition of his contributions to scientific publishing, Dr. Ansori received the Editorial Contribution Award 2026 from Scientific Reports (Springer Nature). He was also honored with the TCID Author Award 2023, presented by The Conversation Indonesia, for his outstanding contributions to public science communication.
