About
Dr. Ahmad Hosseini-Bandegharaei is a Research Director and Faculty Member at Semnan University who earned his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Semnan University under the supervision of Dr. Maryam Rajabi. He holds an impressive publication record of 258 indexed papers that have received more than 17,000 citations, with an h-index of 64, placing him among the world’s top 1% most cited scientists. His research is structured around three core thematic areas: adsorption and biosorption for pollutant removal (151 papers), advanced photocatalysis techniques (59 papers) and analytical chemistry methods development (48 papers). He has pioneered the use of extractant impregnated resins (EIRs) for selective metal ion separation and has worked extensively on biopolymer modifications for heavy metal adsorption. Dr Hosseini-Bandegharaei actively collaborates with scholars in different countries.
