Nilendri Rout completed her Ph.D. in synthetic organic Chemistry from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India under the supervision of Prof. Debayan Sarkar in 2019. In the same year, she joined as a Research Scientist at TCG Lifesciences Private Limited, Kolkata, India. Her research interest on oxidative dearomatizartion and transition metal catalysis.
