About

Dr P. Umar Farooq Baba works as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and a Professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at SKIMS, Srinagar. He was included in the PRS Global Open Reviewer Hall of Fame of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for the second consecutive year in 2024. With more than 75 publications and over 100 invited lectures, he remains committed to academic growth, research, and teamwork. As Associate Editor of PRS Global Open and Assistant Editor of the Journal of Medical Sciences, he strives to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. Actively serving APSI, ISSH, NABI, and NZAPS, he aims to promote collaboration and transparency and to be the collective voice of all members.
