About
Dr. Srinivasa Rao Sunkara is an Assistant Professor of Mechatronics Engineering at KyungSung University in Busan, South Korea. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering (2007-2011) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada, India. Srinivasa Rao obtained his Master’s and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He served as a Research Scientist at Pusan National University since 2012 to March-2018, respectively, where he has been involved in the development of various nanomaterials which can be used in Energy Storage and Conversion applications. Since March-2018, he is working as an Assistant Professor in School of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, KyungSung University, South Korea. Currently, he is developing various electrode materials for Supercapacitors, Solar Cell and Battery devices using Novel Nanomaterials. He is also an active reviewer for many SCI/SCIE based journals such as New Journal of Chemistry, Electrochimica Acta, Dalton Transactions, RSC Advances, Applied Surface Science, Journal of Energy Storage, Langmuir, Heliyon, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces etc. Due to his knowledge and expertise, Dr. Srinivasa Rao has been invited as a Guest Editor for elite journals in the field, including the Energies and Frontiers in Materials and many more. Overall, he has 12 years of research experience on energy conversion and energy storage technologies and 6 years of teaching experience on electrical and electronics related subjects, reviewed approximately 200 SCI & SCIE papers and published more than 65 research articles in SCI/SCIE based journals.
