About

Currently, I am pursuing as an Alexander Von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow (October 2025 -current) at the Institute of Physics, University of Rostock, Germany under Prof. Christian Klinke. Here, I am focusing on the colloidal synthesis, charge carrier dynamics and photodetection of lead free Halide perovskite nanocrystal, NIR emitting quantum dots.

Before joining here, I obtained Fellowship for Academic and Research Excellence (FARE) award from IIT Kanpur and worked as a Institute Postdoctoral Fellow (Nov,2024-June,2025) under Prof. Pratik Sen. I completed my Ph.D. under Prof. Pratik Sen from the department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur, India. In this journey, I totally tackled different existing challenges like photostability, thickness management, photoluminescence (PL) efficiency enhancement and suppression of thermal PL quenching in 2D layered Halide perovskite and 3D Halide perovskite nanocrystal. I explored time resolved spectroscopy to elucidate charge carrier dynamics for Halide perovskite. Guiding Ph.D. juniors on perovskite photocatalysis and charge transfer enhanced my understanding about charge transfer.

Before Ph.D., I completed my M.Sc. (Physical Chemistry Special) from the University of Kalyani (2018) and B.Sc. (Chemistry Hons) from Barasat Government College affiliated by West Bengal State University (2016).
