About
I am Dr. Chinnadurai Muthu, working as postdoctoral researcher at the department of electrical engineering, KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea. My research area is based on developing colloidal quantum dots, and organic small molecules for optoelectronic applications such as solar cells, photodetectors, and LEDs. I have completed my Ph.D. from CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), Trivandrum, India. The thesis work is based on “Hybrid Perovskite Nanocrystals: Synthesis, Optoelectronic Properties and Applications”. I have experience in handling general organic reactions, synthesizing colloidal quantum dots, and perovskite single crystal, and characterization using various analytical techniques. I have also worked in Analytical Department, R&D Centre of Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, Chennai, India. I have three times been awarded the best poster prize in various National and International conferences held in India. I have qualified National eligibility test for teaching (NET), Graduate aptitude test in engineering (GATE), and State eligibility test for teaching (SET), and Junior research fellow (JRF).
