Khalid Mahmood is a veterinary scientist specializing in reproductive biotechnology and livestock management. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, in 2010, followed by an M.Phil. in Theriogenology in 2016. In 2025, he completed his PhD in Theriogenology from UVAS, with a research focus on equine and bovine reproduction.

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Mahmood has developed advanced expertise in bovine and equine embryo transfer, semen processing, equine management, working dog training, and dairy herd management. His work integrates applied research and field-based solutions, contributing to improved reproductive efficiency and sustainable livestock systems. His current research interests include reproductive biotechnology, equine and bovine fertility management, and strategic innovations in livestock production.
