Dr. Mishra is a professor at VIT, India. He has 25 years of national and international involvement in academic teaching & research at recognized Indian, Taiwanese, and African universities.
He has over 200 publications in SCI/SCIE and SCOPUS-indexed journals, ISBN books and chapters, Indian and Australian patents, and IEEE conference proceedings to his credit, and he serves as a reviewer, associate editor, and editorial board member in SCI and SCIE-indexed journals and conferences.
He received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science & Information Engineering with a specialization in Data Science & Machine Learning from Chang Gung University (CGU), Taiwan, in June 2016. {[CGU is under QS World University Ranking - 429 (2016)]; [Times Higher Education World University Ranking - 601-800 (2016)]}.
Dr. Mishra has received multiple research fellowships from the Ministry of Education (MOE), Taiwan, Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Taiwan, and CGU, Taiwan, during his Ph.D. He has also worked on multiple funded research projects from the MOST, NSC, and CGU Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. He has significant research contributions in IoT Network-Centric Data Science & Analytics blended with Cognitive Apps Policy & Explorations. The works have been published in six reputed SCI journals.
He is associated with Academic Teaching & Research as a Research Committee Member; Master/Ph.D. Thesis Examiner; University Curriculum Revision Committee Member; Course Instructor; University Question Setter; Master and Ph.D. Program Evaluator; Scopus indexed Journal Editor; SCIE & Scopus indexed Journals Referee; ISBN Book Author; and IEEE Conference Referee.

Dr. Mishra is currently serving as an Associate Editor in two SCOPUS-indexed journals, and his research interests span the areas of Network Centric Data Analytics, Data Science & Machine Learning: Analytics and Applications, IoT Big-Data Applications, and Cognitive Apps Policy Assessments.
