• Recipient of IPPAN DISTINGHISHED PERSON AWARD given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Nepal, 2021 for Exemplary work in the field of South Asia Energy Cooperation.
• Addressed the All-Party Parliamentary Group meeting on Energy Storage held at UK Parliament Annexe, London on 14 Sep 2016.
• Member of the committee on Analysis of Future Mobility Fuel Scenarios Considering the Sustainable Use of Biofuels and Other Alternative Vehicle Fuels in East Asia Summit Countries, AIST, Japan 2020-21.
• A Member of ‘ETP Committee’, constituted by International Energy Agency (IEA), Paris, 2010-11.
• Nodal Person from India for South Asia Transmission Utility Regional Network (SATURN) under the SARI energy Programme 2011-12.
• Represented Government of India and addressed the 2nd International Association of Energy Economics Conclave, Perth, Australia (2008).
• Member of International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE), USA.
• Project Consultant at Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia, Jakarta from 2018 till date

• Was instrumental for facilitating India-Nepal Power Trade Agreement in 2014.
• Guided Indian Oil and Gas companies about how to compete with Chinese companies to gain more business opportunity and acquire energy assets. Also produced a ready manual of “Comparative Analysis of India and China Policy for Energy Assets Acquisition”. For this got special appreciation from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
• Influenced the Ministry of Power, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, CEA and CERC to modify the Cross-Border Electricity Trade Guideline 2016 to make it more business friendly across the South Asia region. Based on the report prepared by me it was modified on 28 December 2018. For this I was facilitated by the President Independent Power Producers of Nepal.
• Guided the Government of India to getting membership at International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)
• Formulated “Energy Security Policy” for the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. This Policy was adopted by the Cabinet of the Government of India 2008.
• Played a key role in fetching India’s membership at International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) for which I was highly appreciated by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
• Assisted the Government of India in the formulation of India’s policy of SAARC Energy Cooperation.
• Assisted the Government of India in the formulation of India’s National Action Plan on Climate Change.
• Worked for the International Solar Alliance.
• Guided the Government of India to adopt Hydropower as Renewable Energy Source.
