About

Santosh is a beamline scientist at Diamond Light Source and a visiting scientist at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College. Before this, Santosh worked as a PDRA at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College (2019-2021), University of Bath (2018-2019), and Energy & Bioproduct Research Institute within Aston University (2014-2018).

Santosh’s interdisciplinary research expertise and interests include operando electrochemistry, light-matter interactions, photochemistry, X-ray spectroscopy, functional nanomaterials, surface & interface chemistry, CO₂ and biomass utilisation, and clean energy

Santosh is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy United Kingdom and a former chair of the SHARE network within the Supergen Bioenergy Hub. He is also a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
