About

My areas of interest are the health burden of disease, risk factors, health inequality, aging, life expectancy, sustainable development, healthcare expenditure, economic burden of disease, labour market outcomes, and meta-analysis. Specifically, I am a passionate researcher in the field of bioeconomics, which explores the interaction of the economy with disease and its risk factors. I also actively participate in the Global Burden of Disease study (GBD). Currently, I am pursuing PhD under the supervision of Dr. Himanshu Sekhar Rout at the Department of Analytical and Applied Economics, Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Additionally, I am coming under the world's top 5% scientist for the year 2025 which ranked by SciRank Global.

I have published in reputed journals, including The Lancet and other Lancet family journals such as The Lancet Infectious Disease, The Lancet Public Health, The Lancet Neurology, The Lancet Respiratory Medicine, The Lancet Psychiatry, and Nature Medicine. Additionally, I also published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Med, International Journal of General Medicine, Journal of Agromedicine, Aging Medicine, and Aging and Health Research.
