About

I am an enthusiastic microbiologist currently focused on exploring microbial diversity and ecological roles in freshwater ecosystems. My research aims to discover and characterize unexplored and yet-unidentified microorganisms using culture-dependent approaches, microbial genomics, and metagenomics, with a focus on understanding their ecological functions, metabolism, and contributions to freshwater ecosystem processes. Previously, I worked on hypersaline microorganisms, exploring their diversity, ecological roles, and potential applications. My research interests also include plant–microbe interactions and the development of microbial bioformulations to enhance salt and drought resilience, contributing to sustainable agriculture in challenging environments.
