About
Hi! I am a cognitive neuroscience luminary with a drive for unravelling the intricate dance between the brain and body. Graduating with distinction, I have majored in cognitive neuroscience with a very specific focus on movement neuroscience, delving deep into the realms of motor control, timing, and rhythm and the origins of our movements. My expertise extends beyond the academic corridors, venturing into the practical domains of movement disorders, neurorehabilitation, and the optimisation of human performance in diverse fields, from elite athletes to dancers and musicians to individuals at work trying to make the best of themselves.
My intellectual curiosity doesn't stop there; I am fascinated by the complex interplay between the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles and various physiological systems, including the cardiovascular, respiratory, gut, and renal systems. This unique blend of interests has positioned me as a sought-after consultant in the realm of neurosciences, offering invaluable insights and research consultancy.
As a seasoned researcher with over 5 years of experience, I am adept at making sense of data through rigorous statistical analysis. My impactful work and publications span across societal, academic, and industrial spheres, reflects a commitment to create meaningful contributions to the broader understanding of neuroscience.
Beyond the confines of laboratory, I am a radical realist, seamlessly integrating my skills in research analysis to make a tangible impact on societal, academic, and industrial facets of the system. My forward-thinking approach is evident in my consultancy services, where I aid athletes in sports settings, individuals in workspaces, and everyone else seeking my help to optimize their performance.
Intriguingly, beside just being a man of science; I am also a formally trained multi-instrumental musician. However, my focus lies not in the spotlight of musical performances but in studying the intricate relationship between the brain and the movements of musicians that eventually extends to dancers, and athletes.
Currently at the helm of my own research consultancy firm, I am trying to spearhead highly significant and valuable insights in the fields of movement neuroscience, human performance optimisation, and the exploration of human physiology in extreme conditions. My firm actively engages with individuals grappling with movement disorders, as well as those in the vibrant worlds of dance, athletics, and music and consulting other researchers on carrying out their projects by providing them clearer vision on what they are looking at.
Oh well! I am just trying my best to bridge the gaps between science, performance, and the limitless potential of the human brain and body.
