Dr. Deepak Jain is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala (India). He received B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in 2001, MEng. in CAD CAM & Robotics Engineering in 2003. His Ph.D. work is in the area of Composite materials and finite element methods. He has more than 25 years of experience in teaching, research and industry. His research work include waste valorization of composite materials for civil engineering applications, sustainability, circular economy, finite element methods, coupled multidisciplinary systems, and heat and mass transfer studies.
