About

Prof. (Dr.) Alok Pandey is Dean, Office of Career Services (OCS) and Professor at Jindal School of Banking & Finance at O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU). He is also the Director on board of JGU Foundation and an Independent Director on the Board of CSC e-Governance India Ltd. (Ministry of Electronics & IT, Govt. of India). He was the founding Chairperson of the Index Advisory Committee (IAdC) of the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. from the year 2019 to 2026. In addition, he has also served as the member of the Committee of Advanced Studies & Research (CASR) of the Faculty of Management Studies & Research (FMS&R) at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and member of advisory boards and selection committees of various organizations in public, private and non-profit sector.
Prior to joining JGU, he has served as Dean, School of Management at GD Goenka University, Haryana, Director of Institute of Management Studies-Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and as Director- Advance Studies at ICMAI (earlier ICWAI). As a full-time faculty he has serves as a Professor & Member of Academic Advisory Body of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM), Delhi, Associate Professor at the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad and Associate Professor (SG, F&A) at National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad. As an adjunct faculty he has taught at several institutions including, IIM Lucknow, IIFT New Delhi, and Goa Institute of Management.
Internationally, he has attended a Faculty Development Programme at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) in January 20025, and was the leader of the first PACE-JGU programme at the Lubin School of Business, Pace University New York, USA in July 2024. He also visited Temple University and Drexel University as part of the visiting delegation under leadership of hon’ble Vice Chancellor- JGU in 2025. He has attended AACSB accreditation training at Nagoya University of Commerce & Business (Japan) in 2018 and has presented his research at Sasin Graduate School of Business, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) in 2017 the University of Colombo (Sri Lanka) in 2011.
An alumnus of Banaras Hindu University and University of Lucknow, he has to his credit eight books and over 50 other publications, including research papers, book reviews and opinion pieces in newspapers and trade journals. He has also presented his research at numerous national and international conferences and has delivered over 50 invited lectures at academic and professional forums.
He has successfully supervised multiple doctoral scholars for the award of Ph.D. degrees, and has guided over 100 MBA dissertations. He has also provided consultancy and executive training services to a wide range of prestigious public and private sector organizations. A regular participant in policy deliberations in New Delhi and Mumbai, Prof. Pandey was invited by Ministry of Finance in November 2025 for pre-budget consultative committee meeting, chaired by the Hon’ble Finance Minister of India. In February 2026, he was invited to speak at the prestigious ‘India AI Impact Summit’, by Software Technology Parks of India, Govt. of India.
