About
I have obtained my Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. Following my doctoral studies, I was awarded the opportunity to work as a Visiting Researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. I subsequently completed postdoctoral research at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China, and the University of Palermo, Italy. I also served as a Project Scientist at CSIR–National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI), Nagpur, India. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Amity Institute of Environment and Sustainability (AIES), Amity University, Noida, India. My research focuses on bio-valorization, microbial-assisted degradation of organic pollutants, and resource recovery from waste, with a major emphasis on waste biorefinery, circular bioeconomy, and sustainable waste valorization. My work integrates environmental biotechnology, microbial processes, and advanced resource recovery strategies to develop sustainable solutions for waste management, environmental remediation, and the production of value-added products.
