About
Dr. Ram Krishan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, India. He is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic leadership in the area of electrical power systems. He received his M.Tech. in Power Systems from NIT Hamirpur and earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where his research focused on the stability and optimization of AC/DC power systems. Before joining NIT Warangal, Dr. Krishan gained industry experience with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP (Deloitte India), contributing to consultancy projects in the power and energy sector, with particular emphasis on renewable energy integration and sustainable power system planning.
His current research interests include power system stability, power system analysis, high-performance computing applications in power systems, renewable energy integration, battery energy storage systems, smart grids, and power system optimization. He has authored numerous research articles in leading international journals and conference proceedings and continues to contribute to the advancement of modern power system analysis, planning, and operation through high-quality research, consultancy, and graduate student supervision.
