I am a geologist who has focused on the study of the earthquakes in India. My studies in the areas of active tectonics, earthquake geology, paleoseismology, archaeo- seismology and tectonic geomorphology have demonstrated how geologically constrained models of earthquake generation could effectively address the questions of their recurrence pattern and their long-term forecast.
