About
I am working as Professor in the Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. I have more than Sixteen years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience in the field of Computer Science. I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science & Information Technology from the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala, India. I hold B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering and an M.Tech. in Computer Science from RGPV, Bhopal. I have also qualified prestigious national-level examinations, including the UGC-NET and GATE.
Over the course of his career, I have held significant academic and administrative responsibilities. Also served as Head of the Department of Computer Science & Information Technology at the Central University of Haryana, as well as hold positions of Professor and Associate Professor in the same department. Prior to this, I worked as Department In-charge and Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Informatics at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh. Through these roles, I have contributed to institution-building, curriculum design, research mentoring, and fostering collaborations across disciplines.
My primary research interests include Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, Fog Computing, Cyber-Physical Systems, Healthcare Informatics, and Scientometrics.
I have published extensively in leading peer-reviewed SCI/SCIE indexed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, ACM Transactions on Internet Technology, Artificial Intelligence Review, Archives of Computational Methods in Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. Publications cover diverse areas including quantum computing, AI applications in environmental sustainability, IoT-enabled healthcare systems, cyber-physical systems for disaster management, and Industry 4.0 technologies. Beyond journal articles, also authored book chapters published by Springer and has actively collaborated with distinguished researchers nationally and internationally.
In addition to my academic and research endeavors, I have been involved in guiding doctoral and postgraduate research, mentoring early-career scholars, and contributing to academic committees and boards. I remain committed to advancing the frontiers of computing research and fostering innovation that bridges academia, industry, and society.
