About
I develop, evaluate, and implement nanomaterials. Six years ago, when I used DFT in VASP to solve the mystery of the weak bonds causing B4C armour crack propagation for my master's thesis, I learned to examine a problem from multiple perspectives. During my PhD, I gained extensive experience in material synthesis, characterization, and fabrication; my work was published in ACS Applied Energy Materials. I was fortunate to work under the instruction and supervision of the late Professor Leela Srinivas Panchakarla and stumbled upon a fantastic laboratory and campus. He has left me with an indelible mark. He has always had a scientific temperament, which taught me what research entails. During my master's programme, I worked with a variety of softwares and computers. Currently, I assist and am assisted by a diverse group of individuals. This collaborative effort has been published in several prestigious peer-reviewed journals, such as Nanoscale, ACS Applied Materials and Interface, and JPCC.
In addition to my scientific curiosity, I enjoy playing chess, interacting with curious minds, and exploring new places and cultures.
