About
Postdoctoral Fellow (RA) at the BRIC-National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute, Mohali, Punjab. Previously, I worked at the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur, and the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, Delhi. I hold a master's degree in computational biology and bioinformatics from the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, where my research focused on the mathematical modeling of complex biological systems. My Ph.D. thesis focused on answering the question of how plants adapt to different pathogens by developing and using machine learning approaches.
My research interests include:
(A) Exploring plant defense mechanisms against various diseases.
(B) Exploring plant immune systems inspired by artificial intelligence and deep learning approaches.
(C) Investigating gene network behavior in plants during defense responses.
(D) Analyzing next-generation genome and transcriptome data for biological insight.
