About

I always wanted to do something that differentiates me from the crowd, as I think this is not only my dream but it is of every mankind. However, the path in achieving this goal is full of hurdles that need hard work with the best support of our luck. Mathematically, success/failure is a function of hard work and our luck, i.e. success / failure = f (hard work, luck).

I also got some success and failure in my life as per above mathematical function. In educational success, my Ph.D. degree is awarded by the National Institute of Technology Raipur on date 12/01/2018. I have qualified ARS NET(I)-2018 conducted by the ASRB ICAR New Delhi.

I have five publications in SCI-indexed journals. While completion of my Ph.D. degree, I got expertise in machine learning techniques for text and data analysis. I preferred python and R during my research work because they are open source and easy to use. The core understanding of my research is on filter-based feature selection methods that have improved the performance of the standard classifiers, viz. SVM, MNB, Soft MAX, etc.

After completion of my Ph.D., I worked as a Research Fellow at National Institute of Technology Raipur in a project entitled “Design of JPEG Anti-Forensics Scheme(s) for Evaluation of Existing JPEG Forensic Schemes" which is funded by the Ministry of Information Technology Govt of India. I learned various existing JPEG forensics as well as anti-forensics schemes.

I am currently working as Assistant Professor (Information Technology) at Dr. Y S P University of Horticulture and Forestry Nauni Solan HP India. I have worked as a Faculty in the Computer Applications department of National Institute of Technology Raipur from date 13-08-2018 to 08-12-2020. Earlier, I had served National Institute of Technology Raipur as a Lecturer from October 2007 to May 2015, i.e. almost 7.5 years. I had given my services to the National Informatics Center New Delhi as a Trainee Programmer where I worked on the project which is based on Java, struts, postgre sql, and python on LINUX environments.

My research area is related with text mining, NLP, Machine learning, and Data Analysis.
