Dr Pradnya Kakodkar, is presently working as Independent Research Consultant at Pune. She has completed her MDS in 2002 and is a gold medalist from the Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore. She has an academic experience of 16+ years. She is has 97 publications (national and international) and one book to her credit. She is on the editorial board of a journal and is a peer reviewer for 13 journals. She has served as the Member Secretary of the Institutional Committee for Stem cell Research affiliated to ICMR from 2017-2021.
Importantly , She has been awarded for the paper describing initiation of the systematic review activity for postgraduate students by IAPHD in 2016. She has been recently awarded with the Rao Memorial award for the community activities at the Famdent Excellence awards at Mumbai on 24 November 2019. She has expertise in training for Research Methodology, Manuscript writing, Questionnaire designing, Systematic review and Critical appraisal of the scientific article and she has conducted over 40 workshops. She has attended over 50 national conferences and workshops.
