He graduated with B.Tech in ECE from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Gwalior, MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, University of Florida, where he was affiliated with both ECE and CISE Department.
