About
My research focuses on the development of heterogeneous catalysts for the efficient valorization of lignocellulosic biomass to produce value-added chemicals like 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, sorbitol, xylitol, ethylene glycol, etc. I am also interested in developing deep eutectic solvents for the pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass to extract high purity lignin and separate the cellulosic part effectively.
